Flos Olei Beauty, the natural beauty with extra virgin olive oil
Extra virgin olive oil has always had a reputation for being a panacea for the body. In fact its health-giving qualities, thanks to the presence of antioxidant substances that neutralize the formation of free radicals, are well-known to everyone. But extra virgin olive oil is also an extraordinary product for the skin beauty. Indeed, ancient wisdom, since the time of the Egyptians, had recognized its high emollient and moisturizing properties, and had made it the protagonist of natural cosmetics throughout the Mediterranean culture. Ointment for the muscles of the wrestlers in antiquity, for millennia natural healing of wounds and burns, oil is today recognized - thanks to the presence of fatty acids, vitamins and minerals – as an excellent adjuvant to fight the aging phenomena and the desquamation of the skin and to attenuate the phenomena of dryness and redness. Kit Composition
- Fluid Body Cream (250ml) Created to adequately treat the skin after a bath or shower, this emulsion has great emollient properties, but it is not greasy and does not weigh down the skin, leaving a pleasant clean sensation after cleansing. In fact, the skin needs to restore its physiological balance affected by the use of detergents for bathing, especially in terms of hydration, acidity and lipid requirements. This fluid cream, with moderately acid pH, contains lipids that are fully compatible with the skin and highly emollient, such as sweet almond oil and extra virgin olive oil, containing a high percentage of unsaponifiable fraction. It also contains the skin moisturizing factor (N.M.F.), a mixture of components built on the model of the film naturally present on the skin surface when in optimal conditions: it is made from wheat germ (triticum vulgare) and glucose. Finally, the distilled orange blossom helps keep the skin hydrated and firm, while giving it a light, fresh fragrance.
- Shower Gel (250ml) Formulated with safe ingredients, non-aggressive and targeted also at people with sensitive skin or skin sensitized by the use of unsuitable detergents. Our bath-shower gel meets these requirements and can be used both for the “bath” and the “shower”. Its use is recommended when washing is frequent (intense sporting activities, particularly dirty workplace, etc.). It has an acid pH, respecting the specific physiological characteristics of the skin. Its balanced composition facilitates the restoration of normality in case of redness and leaves the skin smooth and supple. The use of extra virgin olive oil completes the treatment against the oxidative damage suffered during the day; it also nourishes the hair bulb deeply, keeping it in good condition and strengthening the hair. Its formulation also includes substances that provide a balm effect: they are raw materials that reducing the electrostatic charges allow greater manageability and give shine to the hair without weighing it down. The scent is delicate and does not persist after rinsing.
- Face Cream (50ml) Soft day cream containing a natural moisturizing factor consisting of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, urea, lactic acid, glucose, glutamic acid, and wheat germ oil: the mixture of these substances effectively rebuilds the hydro-acid mantle of the epidermis that gets lost in the daily contact with the unfavorable external environment. Light, embracing and easily absorbed, this cream is not greasy and does not weigh down the skin, leaving it perfectly hydrated and soft. Among the active ingredients contained, the silk proteins (sericin) perform a film-forming and hydrating action without weighing down the skin. The main lipid component is the extra virgin olive oil, which is highly compatible with the skin, while the olive leaf extract and its polyphenols help counteract the stressful action of exogenous agents, such as smog, pollution and solar radiation. As a consequence, it is an ideal treatment to moisturize and protect all skin types for the entire day.
- Fluid Hand Cream (150ml) Manicured hands denote care of your own body and self-respect. This is why it is necessary to look after them daily. This barrier cream is not a simple cream for hands and feet, but a real cosmetic treatment of considerable effectiveness. It has significant protective effect for the hands, especially when they are exposed to intense cold, wind, prolonged contact with detergents or irritants. It is softening due to the high amount of extra virgin olive oil, without being greasy; it is readily absorbed and therefore allows to carry out any activity, even immediately after its application. It contains a special substance, allantoin, with high healing power, useful in the presence of chaps, abrasions and micro lesions also in other parts of the body (feet, elbows, etc.). The wetting action is guaranteed by the right quantity of glycerine, which moisturizes without irritating, while the shea butter plays a protective effect against the external environment. Thanks to its remarkable healing and protective properties it is very suitable for the application on feet, especially if chapped or reddened.
