Flos Olei Tour in Rome 2026: Extravergine Day in Rome

The release of the new edition of the guide is a special milestone for the Flos Olei project every year. To celebrate Flos Olei 2027 – a guide to the world of extra virgin olive oil, the traditional December party returns to Rome, in a Christmas atmosphere that we hope will be a good omen for the future.

Rome, the exclusive location of the anniversary, joins the international events of the Flos Olei Tour. This year the event is also an Extravergine Day: it celebrates quality extra virgin olive oil and gives space to other food products that make our tables rich.

Our philosophy is that of a team that seeks excellence and represents the best of national and international olive oil production. Our winning cards are three:

• a loyal group of international importers, to give the producers' work a commercial outlet;
• chefs, who interpret and enhance the product;
• openness to consumers, to spread the culture of extra virgin olive oil and rediscover a sociability that is often overlooked.

Friday, 11 December 2026 – The Westin Excelsior Rome, Via Vittorio Veneto 125, Rome

• 5:00–8:00 pm: press conference, presentation of the Flos Olei 2027 guide and awards
• 8:00–11:00 pm: buffet dinner (booking required)

Saturday, 12 December 2026 – The Westin Excelsior Rome

• 10:00 am–3:00 pm: free tasting for industry professionals
  • 11:00 am–12:00 pm: guided tasting of the Hall of Fame oils, advanced course (Marco Oreggia)
  • 12:00–1:00 pm: guided tasting of The Best oils, introductory course (Luca Mangoni)
• 3:00–8:00 pm: free tasting with chef and food product corners
  • 3:00–4:00 pm: Hall of Fame, advanced course (Duccio Morozzo)
  • 5:00–6:00 pm: The Best, introductory course (Barbara Bartolacci)
